Exploring Outside

In this issue of Response, you'll see highlights of the different ways faculty, staff, students, and alumni connect to creation and wilderness through trips to Camp Casey, research at Blakely Island Field Station, and hikes on Washington state's many mountains. You'll also discover the ways SPU faculty engage with nature in their disciplines through research and coursework, how SPU as an institution is committed to sustainability, and how nature enhances and complicates human understanding of God and faith.

Response is a print and online magazine for thoughtful Christians worldwide, rooted in the people, life, and mission of Seattle Pacific University. The magazine explores the encounter between education, faith, and culture, and is an informed voice for Christian engagement in the world.
