Meet Sharon Okamoto ’76, MEd ’79, principal of Seattle Urban Academy. She earned her education degrees and principal certification from SPU. She was honored at SPU’s 125th anniversary gala for her work at Seattle Urban Academy, a private Christian High School that delivers “academic intensive care” by providing rigorous academic standards coupled with supportive care to equip its students for a college education. With a graduation rate of 95 percent, Seattle Urban Academy empowers students to transform their futures.
