SPUBOUND Photo Contest #myfam

There is no doubt our families, whether they are blood related or not, are our biggest support systems in helping make the transition to college. To show them some love, we dedicated the fifth round of the #spubound photo contest to them! Future Falcons showed off their favorite #myfam pics on social media, and we narrowed it down to the top six.

Voting is now closed, and you chose “Grad fam” as the photo you think best represents #myfam. Congratulations to Shaylynne, who is the winner of a $50 Amazon gift card during orientation!

6. Beach fam: Bonnie Tran

Bonnie says: “Family reunion gets funnier when craziness runs in your genes.” We don’t know where Bonnie has her family reunions, but this looks like paradise.

5. Grad fam: @_shaylynne_

Shaylynne says: “My greatest support staff ever.”

4. Malibu fam: @_gkolde_

Gray says he has his Malibu fam to go on adventures with — like casually hiking to the summit of Mt. Albert.

3. Chilly fam: @taaviem

Taavi says: “I’m going to miss these 3 in a few weeks 😭 continuously thanking God for how much they have done for me the past 18 years.”

2. Big fam: @peace.igbo

Peace says: “24 more days till I start my new journey. I know God will guide me through and I’m grateful for my Fam & friends ❤️”

1. Theater fam: @j_c_c825

Josiah says he has two families that deserve to be celebrated: “One is my immediate family who are incredibly supportive of me and are excited to see me go places, which helps me strive further. The second is my theater family who, even though I’ve graduated, still feel like a second family that helped me through high school, I love these peeps and I can’t wait to see where they all go.”

Voting for #myfam entries ended on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 8 p.m.
