How does your time at SPU connect to the work you’re doing today?

SPU first exposed me to the refugee, immigration, homeless, and other vulnerable populations. Since then, I have been committed to advocacy work.

Who made a difference in your SPU education?

Dr. Mícheál Roe introduced me to peace psychology and the Mennonite Central Committee.

What advice do you have for students about life after graduation?

Travel, learn another language.
