Andrew Yang: Day of Common Learning

Andrew YangAndrew Yang, former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, spoke about the future of work in his keynote address to SPU on Oct. 9. Instead of a single Day of Common Learning event in which students, faculty, staff, and community members have the opportunity to engage in deep thought and conversation around a topic, SPU introduced a weeklong virtual format with specific themes for each day.

This year’s event explored the accelerated digital transformation of our lives and world; theology and the future of work; jobs of tomorrow; and the impact of sociopolitical disruption on diverse populations.
